In a span of 10 years, I have had 3 cases of anaphylactic shock as a result of fever and pain medication. I was not born with these allergies, it just happened overnight. I was told by a specialist that there are no 100% accurate tests to identify what medication one is allergic to, you will only know if or when it happens. There are a few tests such as prick test or drug provocation test. The prick test is only 60% accurate. In my case, it was far from accurate as the result for the very medication that caused me to be admitted into ICU, showed I wasn’t allergic to it. As for the drug provocation test, basically you will be tested like a lab rat so no thanks. I was advised to refrain from taking any pain medication to avoid complications. Since conventional medication is no longer helpful to me, I have become pretty intrigued by natural healing instead. This article would be about my journey to discovering a new alternative healing that being FIR therapy.

I got to know about FIR therapy and its benefits through the net. Started to dig in more about it and found good reviews throughout my research. I’ve learnt that through regular therapy, it can help for various ailments such as

FIR energy occurs within the same wave lengths as the molecules of the human body. Therefore it corresponds with the human body at the same resonance level. FIR energy travels in straight lines and is easily absorbed by the human body, reaching as far as 4-7cm into muscle tissue. FIR heat reaches inside the body not just on the surface, thus it is effective in the healing of sports and other injuries.

FIR causes blood vessels to dilate, which promotes better blood circulation as the heat rids the body of toxins such as dormant cells and lactic acid, from muscle fibers through sweating. Good circulation of blood and bodily fluids enhances the distribution of oxygen and ingestion of nutrients to every part of the body. Thus the body naturally metabolizes and heals itself which leads to improved vitality. Upon entering the human body, FIR energy causes a warming effect by activating molecules and body cells. FIR energy activates the cells, increases blood vessel resilience and promotes cellular functioning.

Once the body is strong and healthy, its elevated immune system induces a greater capacity to resist against disease.

Due to its increasing popularity, there are many products currently in the market worldwide that utilizes this technology. Fortunately for me, I need not go far to try out FIR therapy. Found a centre nearby. The centre provides FIR saunas and also sells FIR heating pads. The heating pads are basically spot therapy meaning it focuses on the problem area. It comes in neck and shoulder pad, back pad and knee pad. These are suitable for those who have aches and pains in those specific spots.

FIR waves warm the body without heating the air in between the source and the object. Therefore, FIR saunas are dry as opposed to the humid heat produced by a conventional sauna. In a study done in the United States, the sweat of people in conventional saunas was found to be 95% to 97% water. Sweat of those using a FIR sauna was 80% to 85% water with the non water portion containing the following: cholesterol, fat soluble toxins, toxic heavy metals (mercury and aluminium) sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia and uric acid. These toxins have been stagnant in the body’s cell for years.

With this knowledge, I have decided to try out the FIR sauna. Basically, you make an appointment at the centre, they will set a suitable temperature and then you get into the cabin and sweat it out for 30 minutes. It is highly recommended to do this everyday but I tried 3 times a week. Before you enter the cabin, you are advised to take calcium supplements as you will lose some calcium in the process of detoxing. You are also advised to drink as much water as you can to prevent dehydration. In my experience, I sweat buckets and surprisingly, my body didn’t feel sticky like it would when I normally sweat. The management asked me to taste my sweat which was a weird request but they wanted to proof that sweat from FIR therapy is different and the sweat will not be salty and so, though I was skeptical, I obliged. To my surprise, my sweat really was not salty. In fact, my skin was smooth. After 3 sessions, my eczema had cleared up without any medication. I sleep better at night.

That said, every individual are different, hence healing period may vary for different individual. It is a therapy worth trying instead of consistently relying on medication which might be harmful if taking in long term. In short, through FIR treatment, you detox to a healthier lifestyle.
